Speech alone no longer carries a meeting. Agenda, speaker list, documents, voting results and the image of remote participants belong at the seat – and in a form that needs no training.
The display
The DCNM-MMFF has a built-in 10-inch high-resolution multi-touch display that adjusts through 180°. With the DCNM-MMDOCK, participants bring their own tablet of up to 14 inches. In both cases the same Participant App runs with the same interface.
The display carries, among other things:
- Video of the active speaker and remote participants
- Identification and login
- Agenda and meeting information
- Voting, including results
- Interactive documents, presentation and screen sharing
The DCNM-MMFF additionally carries an integrated 13 MP camera, reserved for future use.
Buttons on the base
All essential functions are also available as hardware buttons on the base, independently of the screen. What a button does is set in software according to the assigned role.
- Device and microphone buttons, configurable in software
- Headphone connector with volume buttons that switch off when no headphone is connected
- Language selection via up/down buttons; the button LEDs light up once a headphone is connected
Voting
Five touch buttons with LEDs are available for voting:
- Present
- Yes / For / A
- No / Against / B
- Abstain / C
- DNPV / D
The voting buttons are only visible when they are actually needed, leaving the control surface calm the rest of the time. Votes can be cast from these buttons or from the touchscreen.
